Each staff member should know that the climate and tone of the camp are created through the work that each individual puts into their job and by setting a strong personal example for our campers and fellow staff members. Only those who subscribe to and exemplify the best traditions of Scouting will be recruited as staff members. The power of personal example of staff to younger campers is the most dynamic and convincing influence they can exert. The influence must be of the very best in terms of personal appearance, uniforming, language, enthusiasm, skill practices, and a friendly approach to all. At no time should any staffer give an impression of superiority. An air of sincere friendliness should prevail. Age requirement for a director/leadership position is a minimum of 18 years of age and older. Some positions require staff members to be older, see specific job categories for specifics.
